Congress President Sonia Gandhi today rejected the resignation offered by Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi following the party's debacle in the state in Lok Sabha polls. Party MLA of Assam, Anjan Dutta told in New Delhi that Mrs Gandhi has authorised Gogoi to revamp the party organisation in the state. He said, as the first step Gogoi will reshuffle his ministry after 1st June when he will complete three years in office in his third term. Earlier Gogoi had a meeting with Congress President Sonia Gandhi and party Vice President Rahul Gandhi in the national capital. Mr Dutta said that during Gogoi's meeting with Rahul, the Congress vice-president too put complete faith in Gogoi's leadership in Assam.
