The Congress President Mrs. Sonia Gandhi will inaugurate Barmer Lift Canal Project in Rajasthan today. Mrs Gandhi, who will arrive in Jaipur this afternoon, will also visit rain-affected area of the city. Mrs. Gandhi will launch 'Mukhya Mantri Urban Below Poverty Line, BPL Housing Scheme' in Rajasthan. Under this scheme, one lakh houses will be provided every year to the urban BPL families.
