Congress President Sonia Gandhi today expressed sorrow and anguish over the Delhi High Court blast. Mrs.Gandhi, who returned to Delhi this morning from the US after undergoing surgery for an undisclosed ailment, expressed her condolence to the affected families.

Talking to reporters in New Delhi, AICC general secretary Janardan Dwivedi said,the Congress President has expressed her heartfelt condolences and sympathy to those who died and were injured in the unfortunate incident. Mrs.Gandhi also thanked all those who wished her speedy recovery when she was undergoing treatment.

It is understood that doctors have advised her complete rest for some more time and hence the Congress President would not be meeting people very soon.
