Congress President Sonia Gandhi today congratulated Sania Mirza for achieving world number 1 ranking in women's doubles tennis and applauded her commitment and determination. In her message, Mrs Gandhi said Sania has made the entire nation proud. Sania yesterday created history by becoming the first woman tennis player from India to achieve the World No 1 ranking in WTA list after her title triumph at the WTA Family Circle Cup with Switzerland's Martina Hingis.
