The Congress President Mrs Sonia Gandhi today backed the Finance Minister on the Budget presented in Parliament last week. Addressing the Congress parliamentary Party meeting in New Delhi today, Mrs Sonia Gandhi complemented Mr Pranab Mukherjee for what she said a budget which is in Public Interest.<br/><br/>The Congress President said addressing the issue of food crisis is the foremost priority of the government and it has responded to this pressing concern with all the resources at its command.<br/><br/>Terming the Left Wing extremism as a major challenge, Mrs Gandhi said that the government is committed to address it both at the developmental level and from the law and order perspective.<br/>
