Congress President Sonia Gandhi has said that unity of the country is more important than power. Addressing a rally in Karol Bagh in New Delhi on Sunday Mrs. Gandhi said that power is a tool which can harm or help people, but there are parties and people in this country who want to take India on the road to disaster. She also asked the people not to be swayed away by the false promises of the opposition who are indulging in the politics of haltered.

She said, the Congress has strengthened the country's Ganga-Jamuna culture. She said Congress has always shed blood and sacrificed for the country on the other hand some parties have only divided the society. The Congress President said that the party has a long experience of the running the government but some parties runaway from the responsibility after making tall promises.
