Congress President Mrs. Sonia Gandhi has said that few parties are politicising every issue and trying to disturb the Parliament proceedings. Inaugurating the Barmer Lift Canal Project in Rajasthan, Mrs. Gandhi said that keeping in view the dignity of Parliament and democracy, all parties should take part in Parliament proceedings. She said that the country is facing problems like inflation, flood, social problems and all parties should come forward to resolve these problems.Mrs. Gandhi will launch 'Mukhya Mantri Urban Below Poverty Line, BPL Housing Scheme' in Rajasthan. Under this scheme, one lakh houses will be provided every year to the urban BPL families.
