Sonia charges BJP ruled MP govt with involvement in rampant corruption

Congress president Sonia Gandhi has charged the BJP ruled Madhya Pradesh government with involvement in rampant corruption. Addressing a rally at Sidhi in the state today, she said that the BJP talks about corruption but it cannot see the Professional Examination Board recruitment scam of Madhya Pradesh, in which people were made doctors through forgery.

Terming corruption as a serious social evil, she said that Congress gave Right to Information to fight it legally. She said that the UPA government brought Right to Employment to stop migration from rural areas and gave Right to Education. She said the UPA government also made a law to provide food grains at subsidized prices. Recalling former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's statement that Congress always work to bring happiness in the life of the poor and weaker sections, Sonia Gandhi said the party always fulfils its promises. She also promised Right to Health, Right to House and Right to pension for organized sector if her party voted to power again.
