Amid tight security arrangements, UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi today arrived in Jammu on a day-long visit. She was received at the airport by state Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Saif-uddin-Soz. <br/><br/>Mrs Gandhi is accompanied by Union Minister for Health Gulam Nabi Azad and AICC General Secretary Incharge of Jammu and Kashmir Prathvi Raj Chouhan.<br/><br/>In view of her visit to Jammu city, multi-tier security has been thrown in and around Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust (GDCT) complex which will be inaugurated by her. Special Protection Group is guarding the venue along with CRPF and police. <br/><br/>Gurjar Centre for Culture and Heritage is first of its kind in the country and apart from having a Museum is also housing a big library containing about four thousand books and literary works on Gujjar and Tribal communities of the state.
