UPA chairperson Mrs Sonia Gandhi and Defence Minister A K Antony today made an aerial survey of the natural calamity-affected areas of Uttarakhand. However, weather is clear at most of the places in the State today and the situation is improving in heavy rain and landslide-affected areas. Met department predicts that rain is likely at few places in next 24 hours. Meanwhile, An Army Major and a Colonel have been killed in Chamoli district during a mountaineering expedition.
