Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Mrs. Ambika Soni today released the government's official calendar for the year 2010, brought out by the Directorate of Audio Visual Publicity. The Theme of the calendar is empowerment of women through flagship and other programmes of the centre. It is based on digitally produced line drawings with rich colors, along with theme of Tricolor in all the 12 pages of the calender. <br/><br/>Speaking to newsmen after the function, Mrs. Ambika Soni said all efforts will be taken to distribute the calendar to every panchayat in the country so that the information on the welfare schemes being implemented by the centre reaches the common man.<br/>
