Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly has been rocked today over Sompet firing incident on the final day of its monsoon session. <br/><br/>Opposition TDP members have been suspended from the Legislative Assembly for disrupting the proceedings over the firing incident which claimed two lives and injured 145 persons. Following several chaotic incidents, speaker N Kiran Kumar Reddy has adjourned the house sine die. <br/><br/>Earlier, holding the Government responsible for the firing, the opposition members have demanded dismissal of Revenue Minister D Prasada Rao and a judicial enquiry into eth incident. <br/><br/>The TDP members have created uproar even after suspension. Creating havoc, TDP members have re-entered into the house even after the marshals forced them to leave the house. Mikes have been thrown towards speaker’s podium amidst pandemonium.<br/><br/>Earlier, Home minister Sabitha Indra Reddy in her statement said the police opened fire in self defence only when all other efforts to control the agitating mob failed. She said two persons were killed and about 145 persons including over 50 policemen injured in the incident.<br/> <br/><br/>Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Government has announced an exgratia of Rs 5 lakh each to the family members of the victims in Sompet firing. <br/><br/>Announcing this to media persons, Chief Minister K Rosaiah has said providing job to one person in each family is also under consideration. The medical expenses of the injured would also been borne by the Government.<br/>
