In the ongoing Chennai Open, India's highest single ranked player Somdev Devvarman and his compatriot Ramkumar Ramanathan and N. Prashanth will play their opening round matches in the evening. Somdev will take on sixth seed Yen-Hsun Lu of Chinese Taipei in the opener, whereas Ramkumar Ramanathan is pitted against Tatsuma Ito of Japan and Prashanth will be taking on Jiri Vesely from Czech Republic.In the Doubles event India's Leander Paes along with his South African partner Raven Klaasen will take on Austrian-Croatian pair of Haider Maurer and L. Lacko in the first round.
