Indian Davis cupper, Somdev Dev Varman and Sanam Singh have crashed out of the the doubles event at the ATP Chennai Open Tennis Tournament. In the semi final played at Chennai last night, they lost to Yen-Hsun Lu of Taipei and Janko Tipersarevic of Serbia 3-6, 6-4, 5-10.Meanwhile, the final line up in the singles event has been drawn. Defending champion Marin Cilic will clash with third seed Stanislas Wawrinka today for the title. While Marin Cilic stormed into the Singles final beating fourth seed Janko Tipsarevic 6-1 6-3, Stanislas Wawrinka defeated Dudi Sela of Israel 6-4, 2-6, 7-5 to enter the final on Saturday.Earlier, the organisers felicitated the members of the Indian team which made it to the Davis cup challenge round in 1966. The team which was honoured included Ramanathan Krishnan, Jaideep Mukherjee, S P Misra and late Premjit Lal, who was represented by his brother.
