Indian tennis sensation Somdev Devvarman has bowed out of the ATP Farmer's Classic tournament. He was handed dawn a straight set defeat by Ryan Sweeting of the United States at Los Angeles on Tuesday. It was pay-back time for Sweeting after the Indian defeated him last week in Atlanta en route to quarter-finals.Somdev lost 4-6, 6-7 to the American to suffer an early exit in the opening round of the singles main draw. The 62nd-ranked Indian will now compete in doubles competition of the tournament. He has paired with Philippines' Treat Conrad Huey and they will be up against top seeded Brazilian pair of Marcelo Melo and Bruno Soares.
