In Somalia, at least 15 people were killed in a suspected suicide car bomb attack targeting the country's new military chief in the capital, Mogadishu. Police said the General Mohamed Ahmed Jimale, new military chief, has survived the targeted attack. <br/><br/>Police said a number of soldiers are among the dead and the death toll could rise as a minibus carrying passengers was also destroyed in the blast. Somalia's Islamic extremist rebels, al-Shabab, claimed responsibility for the attack.
