Somali pirates hijacked a Singapore-flagged chemical tanker in the Gulf of Aden yesterday. The European Union naval force said in a statement that MV Pramoni was seized when it was heading to Kandla port in India. The ship has a 24-member crew. The ship's master reported by radio that all the crew are safe.
