Somali pirates free Danish family

Somali pirates have released a Danish family with three teenage children and two other Danes whom they took hostage in February. The Danish foreign ministry on Wednesday said the seven people have been released and brought to safety. However, the Ministry has not provided any details of their release. Meanwhile, Danish press reports suggested that a ransom had been paid. The Danish family with their three teenage children and two guests had been sailing some 300 nautical miles from Somalia when they were seized by pirates on February 24.
