Solicitor General Gopal Subramaniam is leaving for United States tonight as part of India's efforts to get access to Lashkar-e-Toiba operative David Coleman Headley. He has pleaded guilty before a US court to charges of plotting Mumbai terror attack in November 2008.<br/><br/>Mr. Subramaniam will be in Washington till Monday to explore all avenues open to India for getting access to Lashkar operative. He leaves for US within a fortnight of Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh's visit to the US.<br/><br/>Ahead of his visit, the US Ambassador in India Timothy J. Romer assured that US is working at the highest level to provide India access to Headley.<br/>
