Solicitor General Gopal Subramaniam is leaving for United States tonight as part of India's efforts to get access to Lashkar-e-Toiba operative David Coleman Headley. He has pleaded guilty before a US court to charges of plotting Mumbai terror attack in November 2008. <br/><br/>Mr. Subramaniam will be in Washington till Monday to explore all avenues open to India for getting access to Lashkar operative. He leaves for US within a fortnight of Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh's visit to the US. Ahead of his visit, the US Ambassador in India Timothy J. Romer assured that US is working at the highest level to provide India access to Headley.<br/>
