In Karnataka, two people were burnt alive when the Solapur-Phalakanama train caught fire at Gulbarga railway station. Four passengers injured in the incident have been rushed to the Gulbarga district hospital. The train had arrived from Solapur in Maharashtra in the afternoon and was stationed in Gulbarga. Around 1.20 pm fire started unexpectedly in coach number six, quickly spreading to other six bogies. Fire brigade and railway protection force personnel have doused the fire and removed burnt bogies out of the platform.
