Millions of Germans are facing problems with withdrawing money after a Software bug hit debit and credit card transactions. One of the main organisations representing German Banks said some 20 million debit cards and two and a half million credit cards have been hit by the bug which is caused by problems reading the new date – 2010. Thousands of cash machines have already been fixed but the problem would not be ironed out completely before Monday.
