Vice President Venkiah Naidu today said, a society cannot be called as civilized or ideal if there is any discrimination in the name of caste or religion. He was delivering the 24th Sree Chithira Thirunal memorial lecture in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. <br/><br/>Mr Naidu is on a two-day visit to the state. He said Sree Chithira Thirunal, the last king of Tranvancore had made immense contribution to education, culture and social emancipation of the masses.
