Veteran socialist leader and thinker Surendra Mohan passed away in New Delhi this morning after a brief illness. He was 84. Mohan was close to socialist leader Ram Manohar Lohia and was instrumental in giving shape to socialist legislation during his tenure as Rajya Sabha MP. Cremation will take place at Nigambodh ghat at 3 pm.
