Community came together on various social media platforms to help the unknown. Several organisations , NGOs, political leaders, journalists and self help groups used social media as a powerful tool to reach out to people.</span><br />” <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />” <span style="color: #222222;">Talking to All India Radio News, Cyber Expert Jiten Jain said the social media became helpline for people to get help from the society. He cited the example of Noida and Delhi police who started the Plasma Helpline to help people.</span><br />” <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />” <span style="color: #222222;">Due to the sudden increase in usage of internet and social media he said that the digital literacy in the country needs to be strengthened so that everybody is aware of cyber safety and internet can be used to its maximum potential.
