So far, 48 foreign soldiers died this month in Afghanistan

In Afghanistan, three foreign soldiers have been killed in separate incidents as militants are stepping up their targeted attacks on coalition troops and others aligned with the government. NATO-led coalition said in separate statements today that two soldiers died when a bomb exploded in the south and a third was killed by militants in the east on Thursday. The deaths came a day after ten soldiers were killed on Wednesday including eight during a shooting in capital Kabul. So far, 48 foreign soldiers have died this month compared to 33 during April last year.
