In Himachal Pradesh, the high altitude areas are experiencing mild snowfall while lower areas have received moderate rainfall during the last 36 hours. The inclement weather plunged temperature several notches below average, disrupting normal life. There has been fresh intermittent snowfall in tribal areas of Lahaul Spiti, Kinnaur and some parts of Chamba, resulting in road blockades.

AIR Correspondent reports that tourist resorts near Shimla, like Kufri, Mashobra, Narkanda and Jakhu hills also experienced mild snowfall and intermittent rain yesterday. Weather in other parts of the state is either clear or partially cloudy today. Met office had forecast rain or snowfall in the state for yesterday and today.
