Himachal Pradesh is also experiencing snowfall due to easterly winds sweeping the state. The Met Department has predicted heavy snowfall in the state during the next 24 hours.

A high alert has been sounded in Kullu, Shimla, Chamba, Lahaul and Spiti and Kinnaur districts following the prediction of the snowfall. Authorities have advised people in these areas to remain indoors.

Moderate to heavy rain lashed most parts of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. The national capital Delhi has also been experiencing moderate rain since last night.
