Heavy snowfall and incessant rains bring down mercury level in several parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and the capital Delhi. In J&K, unprecedented snowfall for the past couple of days played havoc in Gulmarg and its surrounding areas.<br/><br/>The Jammu-Srinagar national Highway is closed for traffic from the last two days due to snowfall at Banihal Tunnel.<br/><br/>In the Ladakh region Kargil district has experienced heavy snowfall as above 3 feet snowfall is recorded in Drass and Rangdum due to which the outer area like Sankoo Valley, Drass Valley and Batalik Sector of Kargil is cut off from the Headquarter.<br/><br/>The J&K Disaster Management cell has issued warning to the people to avoid moving in these areas. According to weather forecast this snowfall will continue for some more days. <br/><br/>In Himachal Pradesh, road connectivity in the most reaches of the state have been disrupted following heavy snowfall. <br/><br/>Rain and strong wind hit capital Delhi. According to the met department, Delhi received 14.8 millimeters of rain. Met department predicts partly cloudy sky on Tuesday. <br/><br/>
