Snooker team bags Silver medal in Asian Games

At the Asian Games in China on Monday, the cueists turned out to be the saving grace for India by bagging a Silver medal, as the fancied shooters came a cropper on a disappointing third day of competitions. AIR correspondent covering the mega events repots that the performance of the snooker team comprising Yasin Merchant, Sneh Aditya Mehta and Brijsh Damani, gave India their fourth Silver. The team lost to China 1-3 in the final. The bronze came through the men's tennis team when they lost 1-2 against Cinese Taipei in the semi-finals.
