The government proposes to launch a Short Message Service facility by which patients can get information about affordable alternative to the medicine prescribed by the doctors. Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad gave this information in a written reply in the Lok Sabha today. He said the Department of Pharmaceuticals under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers has conceived this scheme. The details are being worked out by them, he said
