The Union HRD minister Smriti Irani today dedicated "Nand Ghar" -the next generation aganwadi centre at Nagepur village in Varanasi today. <br/><br/>Nagepur village is the second village which was adopted by Prime Minister in his parliamentary constituency under Sansad Addarsh Gram Yojana.<br/><br/>On the occasion of 125th birth anniversary of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedekar, Union Minister Smriti Irani also unveiled a statue of Dr Ambedekar near the village. She also distributed e- rickshaws to more than one hundred beneficiaries and handed over cheques to a group of villagers to purchase cows.<br/><br/>Mrs. Irani also presented Radio sets to residents of Nagaepur and appealed to listen to PM's Man Ki baat programme regularly. She also interacted with villagers to know their problems.<br/><br/>Smriti Irani gave credit to initiative of prime minister saying that it is for the first time that Dr Ambedakar Birth anniversary was celebrated in United Nations also.
