Union Human Resource Development minister Smriti Irani has urged people to access free E-book facilities provided by the NCERT. Addressing a public meeting in Lakhimpur today, Ms. Irani said that for the first time free E-books facilities have been provided from class one to class 12th class. <br/><br/>Union Sports minister Sarbanand Sonowal alleged that the Congress government in Assam failed to fulfill the aspiration of people. Mr. Sonowal said that Union Highway minister Nitin Gadkari assured him to construct a bridge over the Brahmaputra connecting Jorhat and Majuli. Earlier, Ms. Irani has inaugurated a Kendriya Vidyalay bhawan at Lakhimpur.
