Union Minister for Women and Child Development Smriti Irani today formally inaugurated a National conference with States and Union Territories at Kevadiya in Gujarat. Speaking on this occasion, she said that the role of States and Union Territories are very crucial to achieve the target of 'Sahi Poshan- Desh Roshan'.<br />''<br />''The conference will deliberate on important issues like Mission Poshan 2.0, Mission Vatsalya and Mission Shakti along with challenges and expectations from the States and Union Territories.<br />''<br />''AIR correspondent reports that a large number of delegates from various States and Union Territories are participating in the conference which began yesterday.<br />''<br />''The two-day national conference has been organized by the Union Ministry of Women and Child Development. The aim of this conference is to discuss the various issues concerning the nutrition of women and children. Union Minister Smriti Irani has also planted Ayurvedic Medicinal Plants at 'Mahila Sashaktikaran Van' near the Statue of Unity this morning. She said that this van will inspire the people about the importance of nutrition for women and children.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #000000;">She also visited the Community Radio Station at the Statue of Unity run by local tribal girls. She paid tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel- the architecture of modern India at the Statue of Unity. Minister of State for Women and Child Development Mahendra Munjapara also remained present on this occasion.</span><br />
