Information & Broadcasting minister Smriti Zubin Irani today inaugurated the 92nd Foundation course of all India civil services trainee probationary officers at Lal Bahadur shashtri National Academy of Administration at Mussoorie.<br/><br/>Addressing them, she expressed happiness that 28 per cent of officers on trainee are from rural background where as 27 per cent are women. <br/><br/>Expressing optimism that the male and female ratio in civil services training course will reach fifty-fifty, she exhorted them to be inspiration to each other to serve the most marginalized segment of the society.<br/><br/>Reminding PM Narendra Modi's resolve for a Digital India, she said, it is up to the officers whether social media becomes a friend or their scrutinizer. <br/><br/>Highlighting importance of integrity in public life, she emphasized that the fulcrum of their service should be to improve the living standard of the under privileged. Quoting PM to identify 100 most challenging Districts of the country to build New India by 2022, she asked them to work on their contribution towards the goal.
