<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister for Women and Child Development Smriti Irani chaired the Zonal Conference on the Ministry schemes with the stakeholders in Bengaluru today. Addressing media persons, the Minister said that it is their endeavour to make women the central fulcrum of administration. She laid down the details of Poshan Abhiyan, Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao and other initiatives of the Ministry.<br />''<br />''She said that Mission Poshan 2.0 is conceived after amalgamating the programmes of 18 Ministries. Smart Devices are provided to 11 lakh Anganwadi Kendras in the country to monitor the Poshan Abhiyan Mission. Over 11 lakh Anganwadies are provided with growth monitoring devices. Improving nutrition value among women and children has today transformed into Jan Andolan. Across the country, 40 crore events and awareness campaigns were organised to educate masses about the nutrition quotient.<br />''<br />''She said that there are 704 One-Stop Centres functioning in the country to provide medico-legal counselling to women in distress. This year 300 more such centres will be opened. There are also plans to open One-Stop Centres in 10 countries to provide aid to the diaspora. She pointed out that the Budget this year has provided 14 per cent more allocation than the previous year. There are 24 crore women benefiting from Jan-Dhan Yojana, 68 per cent of beneficiaries of Mudra Yojana are women and 80 per cent of the beneficiaries of Stand-Up India are women. In the coming days, efforts will be made to assimilate data at the district level and the Child Welfare Committees will have trained qualified members.</span><br />
