An Air India Flight bound for Mumbai from Kochi was delayed this morning after smoke was detected emanating from the aircraft, soon after it was ready for take-off. The aircraft was moved to the isolation bay of the Cochin International Airport. The aircraft was subjected to thorough examination and took off after a delay of nearly one and half hours. The aircraft had 115 passengers on board, besides the crew.
