In Manipur, a small village of Kang-pokpi district has shown humanity in the desperate hours by distributing vegetables for free to its nearby villages. Villagers of Konsa-khul, a hilly and small tribal village gathered the vegetables from the village and surrounding hills and distributed around two truckload vegetables to nine villages in the nearby areas today. These villages were facing scarcity of vegetables and food items due to closer of market in view nationwide lockdown.<br />'' <br />'' Speaking to AIR News, Chief of Konsa-khul Shri Alyson Abonmai said, when people are suffering with their food running out of stock, the people should help one another without differentiating caste and creed. After knowing that these surrounding valley based villages are facing scarcity of vegetable,villagers of Konsa-khul decided to help them by distributing vegetables.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, Manipur has recorded two positive cases of COVID-19. However, the first COVID-19 patient has been tested negative result two times and she is expected to be discharged from hospital for 14 days compulsory home quarantine.
