In Uttar Pradesh, there is slight improvement in the flood situation in Jyotiba Phule Nagar and Muzaffarnagar districts as the water-level of river Ganga has started receding. In the eastern parts of the State, more than a dozen districts including Gonda, Bahraich, Pilibhit and Hardoi are still reeling under severe floods from the rivers of Ghaghra, Ramganga and Sharada. AIR Gorakhpur Correspondent reports that the relief work is going on in full swing.
