SLanka win toss, put India to bat

Sri Lanka skipper Kumar Sangakkara won the toss and opted to field against India in the first cricket one-day international at Madhavrao stadium in Rajkot on Tuesday.India would be without middle-order batsman Yuvraj Singh, who has failed to recover from a finger injury. Virat Kohli, as expected, comes in place of Yuvraj.Also missing from the hosts' final XI are Pragyan Ojha and Sudeep Tyagi.Sri Lanka will be without two star bowlers — spin legend Muttiah Muralitharan and paceman Lasith Malinga.While Malinga is down with flu, Murali is out due to finger injury.
