Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa-led ruling United People's Freedom Alliance (UPFA) is far ahead in the Parliamnetary elections. It has bagged, 70 of the 95 seats declared so far in the 225-member House.<br/><br/>Former premier Ranil Wickremesinghe's United National Front (UNF), another alliance of opposition parties, got 25 seats. Election officials said in Colombo that detained former army chief Sarath Fonseka led Democratic National Alliance (DNA) is yet to open its account.<br/>
