<span style="color: #222222;">In Assam, 6 DNLA terrorists were gunned down in an exchange of fire at Karbi Anglong district during the wee hours today. Details are awaited. The SP of Karbi Anglong district Pushparaj Singh said that  search operation is still on at Dhansiri area in the Assam- Nagaland border. He said, so far 6 bodies of Dimasa National Liberation Army, DNLA have been recovered.  After a long interval , security forces had to launch such a massive operation in Assam against any militant outfits. The group was involved in the killing of a civilian at Dhansiri on 19th of this month. The joint team of Assam Rifles and police launched an operation against the outfit and after heavy exchange of fire, security forces gunned down the militants. Large number of arms and ammunition have  also been recovered from the spot.</span><br />
