Government today said that six states have been reporting a surge in Daily new Covid Cases. They cumulatively account for 86.25 per cent of the new cases reported in the past 24 hours. These states are Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab, Karnataka, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu. Union Health Ministry said, Maharashtra has reported the highest daily new cases at 11 thousand 141. It is followed by Kerala with two thousand 100 while Punjab reported over one thousand new cases.<br />'' <br />''The Ministry said, Centre is regularly holding high-level review meetings with the states and UTs showing a surge in new daily cases.
