In Chhattisgarh, six security personnel were killed when Maoists blew up a Bus in Bijapur district of the tribal Bastar region today.

The Police is yet to officially confirm the casualties. AIR correspondent reports that the Bus was carrying the polling party and security personnel who were returning to their base after the Thursday's polling in Bastar Lok Sabha constituency.

This incident took place between Kutru and Guduma. According to initial reports, about 12 members of the Polling Party were also injured but the number is yet to be confirmed.
