Six Rajya Sabha candidates from Tamil Nadu were declared elected unopposed on Friday. As the last date for the withdrawal of nominations drew to a close this evening, there were only six candidates against as many vacancies, including three from the DMK, one from its alliance partner Congress and two from the AIADMK.
