In Assam , six persons, including pregnant women, died in a tragic road mishap at Puranigudam in Nagaon district Monday afternoon. While four of them died on-the-spot, two others succumbed to their injuries at hospital. Seven other passengers, who sustained grievous injuries, have been admitted to Nagaon Civil Hospital .The incident took place when a passenger-carrying Tata Magic vehicle collided head-on with a truck coming from opposite direction at Kakhari village on the National Highway Number 37.The victims included the driver and the proprietor of the Tata Magic vehicle. The passengers were on their way to Jakhalabandha from Nagaon town in the same district.
