In Gujarat, heavy rain lashed South and Central parts of the State during last 24 hours. Six more people were killed in the rain related incidents. Five people were killed in Central Gujarat due to lightning while one person was drowned in Narmada river. Sankheda block of Vadodara district received 10 inches rainfall on Saturday. Dang district also received four to six inches rainfall. Our Ahmedabad Correspondent reports that city is receiving heavy rainfall since last midnight causing heavy water logging in most of the low lying areas. Local Met Office has issued heavy rainfall warning in most parts of the State for the next 24 hours.
