In Uttrakhand, six more persons have died during last 24 hours in rain related incident. Rescue work is on with the help of army and ITBP in flood affected areas of the state. Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has visited the affected places of Haridwar, Almora, Nainital and some other places today. He also reviewed the rescue work. Met department predicts more rain may occur in coming 24 hours.The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh is grieved to learn about the of loss of lives in the recent floods in Uttarakhand. According to an official release, the Prime Minister has sanctioned an ex-gratia of ` one lakh rupees to the next of kin of each of the deceased from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund and ` fifty thousand to those seriously injured in the floods.
