In China, six miners have been killed and eight others injured in an underground traffic accident in a coal mine in the northern Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. According to local authorities, the accident took place early this morning when a tram carrying 14 miners at the Wusigedu coal mine crashed while turning. The mine is is owned by Northern United Power Company of China Huangneng Group.
