In Afghanistan, six members of a family including two children were killed as their car hit a roadside bomb on the outskirts of eastern Khost city today. Provincial chief of Police said that a civilian car ran over an explosive device planted by militants in Maton area this morning. In a separate incident, five civilians were injured as a suicide bomber blew himself up near a police vehicle in southern Kandahar province yesterday. <br/>
